TIME TRIAL START:   This event utilizes a Time Trial Start format.  The Windham and Derry Rail Trail is the perfect venue for a time trial start implementation in order to provide optimal race conditions for athletes looking for a BQ or PR!

• Marathon Time Trial Start will begin at 7:30am with athletes starting 2 at a time every 7 seconds.
• Half Marathon Time Trial Start will begin at 9:00am with athletes starting 2 at a time every 14 seconds.

Participants in each race are seeded fastest to slowest, based on pace data collected during registration. Each runner’s bib number has a Group # and Start Number (ie. Bib #101 is Group 1, Cone 01 – Bib #1250 is Group 12, Cone 50). Athletes are expected to line up with their respective  group or corral and stand by their matching cone. They will be ushered to the starting line, 2 by 2 in order to start at their assigned start time!

START TIMES & BIB NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE PUBLISHED & EMAILED TO REGISTRANTS ON THURSDAY OF RACE WEEK.

EARLY BIB PICK-UP
Available from 10:30am to 7:00pm on Friday, April 2nd at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Rd., Bedford, NH)

RACE DAY BIB PICK-UP
Available starting at 6:45am at the registration tents located adjacent to the Start / Finish Line at Medicus Healthcare Solutions in Windham, NH.  (22 Roulston Rd, Windham, NH). All participants will be provided a suggested bib pick-up time corresponding with their personal start time.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
There will be no race day registration, due to the nature of a time trial start we cannot accept race day registrants.

START / FINISH LOCATION
Medicus Healthcare Solutions (22 Roulston Rd., Windham, NH).

VIP PARKING
Limited VIP Parking is available at Medicus Healthcare Solutions, adjacent to the registration area and start/finish line. Participants that registered for VIP parking will receive an email on the Friday prior the race day with their parking pass.   VIP Parking is pre-purchased only and not available to purchase on race day. VIP Parking can be bought as a “purchased event item” HERE or during the registration process

GENERAL PARKING WITH SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
General parking will be available at a dedicated Shuttle Bus Lot located at 11 Northeastern Blvd, Salem, NH. Shuttle buses will provide transportation between the parking area and Race HQ at Medicus Healthcare Solutions, with an approximate 10-minute ride time.

Shuttle buses will pick up and drop off participants directly in front of the Shuttle Bus Lot and will operate continuously prior to the race (6:30 AM – 9:30 AM) and after the race (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM).

Spectators who wish to attend the start of the race are welcome to ride the shuttle buses along with participating athletes.

RUNNER DROP OFF / PICK-UP
Runner drop off and pick up is conveniently located at the front driveway of Medicus Healthcare Solutions (22 Roulston Rd, Windham, NH) prior to the race (6:30am – 9:30am) and after the race (10:00am – 3:00pm).

PARKING RESTRICTIONS
There is NO STREET PARKING PERMITTED on any of the streets near Medicus Healthcare Solutions

GEAR CHECK
Simply check your bag in the gear drop-off tent near the registration/post-race area and pick it up after you finish. A gear check label will be attached to your bib to attach to your bag. Please note that the gear check may be exposed to the elements, however clear plastic bags will be available to use or wrap personal bags.

MILE MARKERS:
Mile markers for both the Marathon and Half Marathon will count down to the finish. The Marathon course will display markers counting down from 26 to 1, while the Half Marathon will display markers counting down from 12 to 1, aligning with the final 12 miles of the Marathon course.

For example, the first mile of the Marathon course will feature a “Mile 26” marker, indicating 26 miles remaining until the finish. As the races progress, the markers will continue to decrease, helping runners easily track the distance remaining to the finish line.

AID STATIONS
Aid stations on route will be located approximately every 3 miles, and all will have Gatorade and Water available. Port-O-Johns will also be located at each aid station.

Trash (including nutrition packets, cups, etc.) should be disposed of within 100 yards of each aid station. For your convenience, trash buckets will also be available at every mile marker. Please help us keep the Rail Trail beautiful by not littering on course.

POST-RACE REFRESHMENTS
Water, Gatorade, fresh bananas, and yogurt provided by Stonyfield Organic.

ATHLETE TRACKING
Track your favorite athletes on Sunday in real-time! Follow all the athletes you want as they navigate their way around the course and pass over 7 timing locations for the Marathon, and 3 for the Half Marathon! Simply select the “Follow” button on the Results page next to your desired athlete(s)!

SPECTATOR CHEER ZONES
Due to the nature of the out & back course on a rail trail, there are no spectators permitted along the trail trail course, except for two dedicated locations:
1) Medicus Healthcare Solutions where marathoners will Start, pass at miles 1, 13, 14, and Finish.
Dedicated spectator parking to watch the finish is available at St. Matthew Catholic Church (2 Searles Rd., Windham, NH) opening at 9:30AM. Spectator parking is not open to view the start. Spectators wishing to view the start at Medicus should take the shuttle buses from the Shuttle Bus Lot (11 Northeastern Blvd, Salem, NH). There is a 1/3 mile walk from St. Matthews to the Race HQ at Medicus Healthcare Solutions.
2) Windham Depot (7 Depot Rd, Windham, NH) where marathoners will pass by at miles 4, 10, 17, and 23.
[Directions to the Windham Depot: Depart Medicus going West of Rt-111 for 2.4 miles, Right onto N. Lowell Rd.  Travel north for 2.5 miles and park at Crossing Life Church. Dedicated parking is at Crossing Life Church (122 N. Lowell Rd, Windham, NH).  There is a short walk from Crossing Life Church to the Depot. There is NO STREET PARKING PERMITTED.]

FINISHER VIDEO
Finishers of the event will receive a link to their finisher video. The link will be emailed online 1-2 business days following the event.

FINISHER AWARDS
Each finisher will receive a ribbon… That is right a ribbon!  After all, it’s the CHEAP Marathon / Half Marathon!

AWARDS
Digital awards will be emailed to the top 3 men and women in each race and  to the top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+).

TRAVEL
If traveling in from out of state, the Manchester – Boston Regional Airport is only 25 minutes from the Start/Finish Line in Windham, NH.  Boston Logan Airport is 45 miles without traffic,   While there are no hotels within walking distance of the venue, there are great hotels just south in Salem, NH or 20 minutes north in downtown Manchester, NH The course is a 20 minute drive from downtown Manchester.

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER RACE DISTANCE, ANOTHER PERSON, OR TO VIRTUAL
Should you wish to transfer to another race distance, begin HERE by editing your entry. After triggering your edit entry link via email, please select “Change Category” at the top of your entry. From there, you will complete and check out with a new registration and your existing entry will be removed. Be sure to complete and finish the check out of your new registration to finalize your transfer.

If you’d like to transfer your registration to a new participant, begin HERE by editing your entry. After triggering your edit entry link via email, please select “Transfer Registration” at the top of your entry. You may then enter the email address of the person who will be transferring into the event in your place. They’ll receive a link to register with your previous entry fee carrying over. Please note, there is a $10 transfer fee to complete this process.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
It’s easy! On race week, we will be sending you a unique link via email to your RunReg entry that will allow you to submit your race results. Results must be submitted by 11:59pm EDT on the Monday following the event.

You can also access your entry to add your virtual time by clicking HERE to edit your entry. After triggering your edit entry link via email, please scroll down to the question asking for your virtual time. You can enter your time, scroll down to the bottom of the entry, then complete your submission by saving the edit. (Please note that the ability to submit results will not be available until Thursday of race week).

RESULTS
Official Results will be published exclusively on millenniumrunning.com on the Tuesday following the event.

AWARDS
Everyone wins their own virtual race!  As such, there will be no recognition of race times.

What about the Elliot Millennium Series and Delta Dental Points Chase?
Virtual registrants will earn miles towards the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket! However, no points will be assigned for the Delta Dental Points Chase.
