Part-Time Social Media Content Creator & Manager
Job Description:
Millennium Running is seeking a creative, organized, and energetic Part-Time Social Media Content Creator & Manager to join our marketing team. This role will support both the Millennium Running Store and our calendar of races and events by producing and managing engaging social media content across all platforms.
The ideal candidate is passionate about running and fitness culture, has a keen eye for content trends, and can tell compelling stories through photos, videos, and captions.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and post high-quality content (reels, photos, stories, graphics) for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms

Capture in-store product photos and create promotional content for gear, apparel, and running accessories

Create race/event promotional content including countdowns, highlights, and participant stories

Attend select races to capture live content and behind-the-scenes moments

Monitor social media accounts and engage with followers through comments, messages, and shares

Collaborate with the marketing and retail team to align messaging and promotions

Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content
Qualifications:

Proven experience managing and creating content for social media (portfolio or examples requested)

Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools)

Familiarity with trends in running/fitness and retail marketing

Strong writing skills and a creative mindset

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Availability to work a flexible schedule remotely and from Millennium HQ/Store and on-site on some evenings/weekends for events.
Pay Range:
Event stipends range from $20-$30 per hour and eligible for stipends for events, commensurate with experience and responsibility, bonus pay for longer events and overnights stays in hotels
