How To Utilize Athlete Tracking From Results

How to Track an Athlete Using Race Roster
1. Access the Results Page
Participants will receive a results link via email during race week. If you’re tracking from home, you can also visit the event website and navigate to the tracking section. There you will find a button directing you to the results page.
2. Search for the Athlete
Use the search bar to find an athlete by name or bib number. If you’re having trouble locating them, make sure you’ve selected the correct race category (e.g., marathon vs. half marathon) and double-check the spelling of their name.
3. Follow the Athlete
Once you’ve found the athlete, toggle the “Follow” slider next to their name.

4. View Their Location on the Map
There are two ways to track an athlete on the course:
-
- Click on the athlete’s name to open their individual results page, then scroll down to view the map.
- If you are following multiple athletes, click the “Following” tab at the top of the results page to see all tracked athletes on one map.

Important Notes About Tracking
- Initial Movement on the Map
An athlete will not appear on the course map until they cross their first timing split. Once they reach that point, their position will begin updating along the route. - Estimated Tracking
Tracking is based on the athlete’s pace from their most recent completed segment. All projected positions and finish times are estimates. - Split Updates
Each time an athlete crosses a timing split, additional data will appear, including pace, split ranking, and more. The system will then update its estimate for their next split and finish time.
